How do I stop the summary page from printing after every print event?

Hi @maydaynm,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

I hear your concern about it must be to see that extra summary page print every single time.  Let’s work together to get this sorted out.

Could you please share the exact HP printer model you’re using?

In the meantime, here are a few  steps you can try:

  1. Disable status reports: Many HP printers have a setting in the control panel or embedded web server (EWS) that controls whether a status or summary page prints after each job. Look for options like “Print Job Report” or “Usage Page” and set them to Off.
  2. Check driver settings: On your computer, open the printer properties/preferences. Sometimes the driver has a checkbox for “Print configuration page” or “Print summary page” that can be disabled.
  3. Update printer firmware: Outdated firmware can cause quirky behaviours. Updating to the latest version with the help if this link -n https://support.hp.com/ .
  4. Reset printer defaults: Restoring factory defaults can clear it. Just be aware this will reset all custom settings.

I hope this helps.

I'm an HP Employee.
