Product: 9125e
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Just bought a 9125e to replace our 8600 that died mysteriously with no error codes.

I DON'T want HP Plus or Instant Ink.

When I set up our 9125e, I am tempted to try to start with only BASIC drivers.

What are the SPECIFIC differences between the Basic driver and the Full or HP Smart drivers for the 9125e?

HP Recommended

Basic drivers require no connection to HP cloud services where as HP Smart does. (at least that is my understanding.)

And - dumb question - exactly how do I FIRST connect and set up the 9125e with a connection by Basic Driver and NOT with HP Plus or Instant Ink?   What are the steps?  Where does HP show us how to do it?
