How is "printeradvertising.com" gaining access to my printer and how can I block it?

As I have HP instant Ink - it is costing me when it keeps sending pages and pages to my printer without a way of stopping the print.

HP Recommended

1. Is the printer accessible to the general internet or is it behind a firewall?

2. Have you gone on into the printr's Embedded Web Server and disabled unused protocols or loooked at the security options avaialble in there?

3. There is an HP printer security web site you can visit here.  On that site is a free security assessment that will help you determine the best way to lock down your device.
