Hi!

I did a semi-reset on my HP 4625 and now my printer is requesting the Install Cartridges when I try to set up.

Can you please help me to bypass this message error?

I read a guide on OOBE reset here: http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printer-Setup-Software-Drivers/How-to-Bypass-HP-4625-Setup-Cartridge/m-...
But the instructions were sent in private messages. Can you help me?

I disassembled the device and discovered that ink had seeped in, oxidizing the contact pins on the underside, causing a poor connection. After cleaning and re-soldering the contact points, this issue was resolved.

Ok, thank you for providing the solution steps that include a disassembly of the printer device and cleaning of contact pins to restore printer function.

These steps will help some other user with the same problem. 😇

Thank you,

Best regards,

ferRX.
