I need to get into an MFD printer via EWS to configure the printer with no internet connection.  Would I use an ethernet cable to connect both my printer and PC together, statically IP the printer and PC in the same subnet, and that's it?  I should be able to ping my printer with this setup and if so be able to EWS via web browser?

I appreciate any help and feedback

Can anyone assist with this?  Am I right or wrong?

You are correct, I do that all the time on customer sites to program printers and not have to beg/borrow/steal one of their workstations.

Just to confirm with this example:

Workstation IP  192.168.10.10

Printer IP   192.168.10.200

You would then enter the print ip into the address bar of your browser and that will open the EWS.
