macOS 10.15 Catalina

I was recently gifted this printer but when setting it up I get the above error and I do not have the setup cartridges. So, I bought new HP 63 cartridges (black and tri-color) and I get the same error. I have seen Youtube videos for other printers to try to bypass this error but I'm unable to follow them as there are some settings/configurations on my printer that are different than the videos. If someone can assist, I would appreciate it. I'm starting summer school soon and I need a functioning printer. Thank you
