Hi @ Nqobi,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you are trying to connect your HP DeskJet 3630 All-in-One Printer to a new Wi-Fi network, follow these steps:
Reset the Network Settings (if necessary):
- On the printer's control panel, press and hold the Wireless and Cancel buttons at the same time for about 5 seconds. This will reset the printer's wireless network settings, allowing you to connect to the new Wi-Fi network.
Connect the Printer to the New Wi-Fi Network:
Using the Printer Control Panel:
- Press the Wireless button on the printer to open the wireless settings.
- The blue wireless light will blink, indicating that the printer is searching for a network.
- Press and hold the Wireless button and the Cancel button at the same time for about 3 seconds to activate Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS).
- If your router supports WPS, the printer will automatically connect to the new Wi-Fi network.
Using the HP Smart App (for Windows or Mac):
- Download and install the HP Smart app from the Microsoft Store (Windows) or the Mac App Store (Mac), if you don't already have it.
- Open the app and select Add Printer or Set Up a New Printer.
- The app will guide you through the process of selecting your printer and connecting it to the new Wi-Fi network. Ensure that your computer is connected to the new Wi-Fi network as well.
Using the Printer's Control Panel:
- On the printer, press the Wireless icon and select Settings.
- Choose Wireless Setup Wizard, then follow the on-screen instructions to select your new Wi-Fi network and enter the password.
Test the Connection:
- After connecting to the new Wi-Fi network, try printing a test page or checking the printer's status in the HP Smart app to ensure it's connected properly.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
