I have installed the HP OfficeJet 6950 with a wireless connection. But I would like to change it to a wired connection using the USB cable supplied with the printer. I understand that I will probably have to change something in the current setup, but can't find out what I have to change. Can someone please let me know what I have to do? Thank you

Welcome to HP Forums,
This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips to your technical queries.
If you initially set up your printer with a USB cable connected to the computer using the full feature HP driver or the HP Smart app, you can convert to a wireless network connection at any time.
Click on this link: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-officejet-6950-all-in-one-printer-series/9666193/document/c0... follow the instruction for Changing from a USB to a Wireless Connection.
Keep me posted, how it goes!

Have a great day!

Thanks for posting.
But as I stated in my question, I installed the printer via a wireless connection. The printer setup didn’t seem to work without a wireless setup.
I now want to have a USB connection - NOT a wireless connection because I want the option of printing without having to be connected to the Internet. How do I do this?
thanks

Thanks for getting back to us. You were previously interacting with @Raj1788 but he is out of the office. Don't worry, I'll take it over from here.
I understand from your previous post, you are trying to print using a USB cable. As the Wireless Connection works, the printers are all installed and sending the print job to the printer.
For a USB setup, all we need to do is just connect a USB cable from the printer to a computer and give the print command.
I'd suggest you refer to this document if you need additional help.
Hope this helps!
Keep me posted.
