HP 4630 officejet printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The language on the printer is one that I can't read, so all the settings menus are useless to me. How can I change the language displayed on the printer? I've re-installed the software and a language option never comes up for me.

@JC0v

Thank you for posting on HP Forums,

Riddle_Decipher is at your service.

As I understand you need assistance in changing the language on your printer,

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

Are you referring to the language on the printer control panel or the application used on windows?

While you respond to that, if it's the printer control panel, here's what you need to do:

Follow these steps to reset the language from the printer control panel.

  1. On the product control panel, press the Setup button ( ). The Setup menu displays.

  2. Press the button () next to the Down Arrow () to select the 5th option from the top (Preferences), and then press the button next to OK.

  3. Press the button next to the Down Arrow () to select the 2nd option from the top (Set Language), and then press the button next to OK.

  4. Use the arrow buttons on the right to scroll up and down through the list to find your desired language.

  5. Select the desired language, and then press the button next to Yes to confirm. The Preferences menu displays again on the product control panel.

  6. Select Country/Region, and then press OK.

  7. Select your desired Country/Region, and then press OK.

  8. Press the button next to Yes to confirm.

  9. Press the Home icon () to return to the main screen.

The language on the printer is Hungarian, which I can't read, so all the settings menus are useless to me.  Can you provide me with the English translation of the displayed Hungarian options so that I can change the printer to English?
