I  do use HP-laserjets for some decades now: reliable, precise and clean. And I like to use install them properly...

 

I bought my Laserjet pro for home-office use some time ago and I always wondered, why I could not change the "place" of use from UK/Great-Britain to Germany. It makes no sense to me not to be able to change this info. Those preset Infos may be changed, but I would obviously need another "key"/ a twist in the systems installationprocedure I am not aware of.

 

Advice / help will be very much appreciated!

Hi,

Open HP Smart on your computer,if your printer is not yet listed click the plus sign and add it to HP Smart.

 

Click on Printer Settings, within the Printer Information screen you may change the Country and the language for the printer:

PS.:

 

Smart denies access clearly...

 

Pss: My printer has been bought 2nd hand, from GB. It may well be that it is  a second level access that I need via convetional software or via touchdisplay of the printer
