Now that HP Solution Center no longer works due to removal of Flash how can you check the printer ink levels? I have overcome the associated scan problems, I just need to be able to check the inks.

The removal of Flash stopped Solution Center from working but I could still print & scan. The loss of Solution Center was annoying as it acts as the front end for all the different functions.
I overcame the problem by downloading the full installation software for the printer and ran it. Once the installation finished everything worked fine as it installed Flash in the HP folders. None of the browsers will recognise it and it doesn't appear in Control Panel etc.

Hi, I tried that and it fails. I get an error popup saying "Failed to get printer driver name"
I have checked that the printer's name in quotes exactly matches the name in Devices and Printers. The printer is set as the default and prints ok as before.
I am wondering what software HP issue for more recent inkjet printers? Is there an alternative to Solutions Center which is 10 years old?
Thanks
