Product: HP DeskJet 2320
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

As my new hp deskjet 2320 ran out of black ink, I noticed in the hp smart app, that it said ink cartridge 305, 305XL and 307XL were supported. I ordered 307XL (hp original), but when I installed it, I got the message, that it was incompatible, with an additional note, that the 307XL was not intended for this printer "as it is configured at the moment". Can the configuration be changed?

 

I stay in Tanzania for some months, bought the printer here, but was not able to get a new ink cartridge here, so I ordered original hp 307XL from Denmark.  It is very inconveniant for me, that the HP Smart app contradicts itself regarding which ink cartridges can be used.

 

Trying to get a new 305 here, I got another Black Setup cartridge, which is also not accepted by the printer/Smart App. Is it possible to re-initialise the printer in order to use that one?
