Hi
First of all, I'm extremely disappointed that it seems, I can't use the HP Smart app anymore, if I do not have a HP account. Why should it be necessary to sign up for an account in order to simply print and scan from my own devices at home to/from the printer I bought?
I like my printer and my previously owned HP printers, but I don't like, that I have to sign up for an account and give away data in order to use my printer in my own private home.
I have found a way to use my printer without the HP Smart app, so I want to delete my HP account. How do I do that?

I'd like to help!
I understand you would like to delete your HP Smart Account.
- Scroll down and click on privacy
- Then click on International Data Transfers and then HP Privacy Office.
- After clicking the above link you will have to select your language and country.
- It would take you to a form, complete the form and highlight the option to delete the account.
- Select I want to make a request regarding my personal data then you will receive an option to request deletion
If you are unable to place a request, I'd suggest you contact HP in your region for assistance.
