I have another laptop that I need to configure my printer with.  I'm unable to setup the printer because it asks for a password and the one on the display that I found was 12345678 but it will not accept it.  I don't want to reset it because it already intermittently disconnects from wifi and I will have to setup 2 other laptops already configured to it.  Please advise.  Thank you.

@BarbaraL10n, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

I see that you are trying to connect the printer wirelessly. Do you have a personal wireless router?

If yes, use the password set for the router.

If you do not know, refer to - Find the wireless network password or PIN to connect an HP printer

The password 12345678 is for wifi-direct. This is different from wireless.

For more info on wifi-direct, refer to - HP printer setup (Wi-Fi Direct)

Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes.
