How to find security login for officejet pro 6978

Somehow all features on officejet 6978 have been locked with password.  I do not know the username or password is there a override with some type of admin user/password.  I did partial reset so now connected to wireless however again when using hp site cannot sign in

I understand you are facing an issue with your HP Officejet 6978 Printer. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

We have to perform a Semi Full Reset to unlock the features of the printer/Reset the password. 

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device. 

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
