How do you go about obtaining a complete printer installer (incl. all PPDs and ICC profiles) that works under macos Sequoia 15.5?
A while ago I downloaded a disk image "HewlettPackardPrinterDrivers.dmg", 584.4 MB, that contained everything, but it refuses to run under 15.5 with the message:
"This update requires macOS version 15.0 or earlier."
HP Easy Start doesn't work.

Hi @Martin-XYZ,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding obtaining Complete Printer Installer for HP Color LaserJet Pro M252dw!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these steps:
If you are looking to obtain a complete printer installer that includes all PPDs (PostScript Printer Description files) and ICC profiles for your HP Color LaserJet Pro M252dw and it's not working with macOS Sequoia 15.5, here are steps you can take to resolve the issue:
1. Download from HP's Official Site:
Visit the HP support site to download the most updated version of drivers and software.
- Go to HP Color LaserJet Pro M252dw Drivers
- Select macOS Sequoia 15.5 from the dropdown menu.
- Download the drivers and software available for your printer model.
2. Use HP Easy Start:
Though you mentioned HP Easy Start is not working, ensure you are downloading the latest version compatible with macOS Sequoia 15.5.
- Download HP Easy Start from HP Easy Start
- HP Easy Start will help you install the latest drivers and PPDs.
3. Manual Installation:
If automatic tools fail, you can manually install printer drivers and profiles.
Download the latest PPD files: You might need to extract or download PPDs directly. MacOS typically utilizes CUPS (Common UNIX Printing System) which supports PPDs.
Install ICC Profiles manually: Download the latest ICC profiles which can enhance color management for your printer.
I hope this helps.
