Very upset with HP products. My HP 135w does not work properly after just one year.

There is no reset or hard reset menu/ sub menu in the printer.  My wifi will not connect it blinks all the time.

Please provide step by step instructions to hard reset this printer including any firmware needed to do so

My best,

Rao

Again: provide clear instructions on how to hard reset the printer including any firmware needed.

STOP SENDING ME TO USELESS LINKS.  I am not a newbie. HP 135w is one of the worst printers I ever had.

Either share with me or when I am back to US I will lodge a formal complaint

Hi @Rao-77,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To hard reset an HP 135w printer, you can follow the steps below.

  1. Turn off the printer by pressing the Power button.
  2. Disconnect the power cord from the printer.
  3. Wait for about 30 seconds.
  4. Reconnect the power cord to the printer and turn it on by pressing the Power button.

This should reset the printer to its default settings. If you want to perform a factory reset of the printer, you can follow these steps.

  1. Turn on the printer.
  2. Press and hold the Cancel button and the Wireless button simultaneously for about 5 seconds.
  3. The Attention light will blink, and the printer will reset to its factory settings.

Note that performing a factory reset will erase all settings, including wireless network settings, so you will need to set up the printer again.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
