Hi @IvanGep ,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you are trying to reinsert the envelope feeder board into your HP Color LaserJet Pro M255dw, follow these steps:
1. Power Off the Printer:
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source for safety before attempting any repairs.
2. Locate the Envelope Feeder Slot:
- The envelope feeder board is typically located near the main paper input tray or within the rear access panel. Depending on where the jam occurred, you may need to locate the exact slot where the feeder board came out.
3. Identify the Correct Orientation:
- Look for connectors or guiding grooves inside the slot where the envelope feeder board came out. There should be guide tracks or slots on the sides to ensure the feeder board goes back in smoothly. The metal connectors of the board should align with the electrical contacts inside the slot.
4. Reinsert the Board:
- Gently slide the envelope feeder board back into place, making sure it is aligned with the grooves or connectors.
- Ensure the board is seated firmly but not forced, as improper insertion could damage the printer or board.
5. Check for Obstructions:
- If the board doesn’t fit properly, check to make sure there are no remnants of the paper jam blocking the slot or any misaligned parts.
6. Power On the Printer:
- Once the envelope feeder board is properly inserted, plug the printer back in and turn it on. Test it by attempting to load an envelope to make sure the feeder is working.

I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
