Hi

 

I used to have the scanner shorcut on my desk top but lost it because I had to re format my computer. 

Can anyone help please? Driving me crazy.

I assume you install the full web pack for the scanner

If the icon does not show up then you need to find it.  

Did it look like one of the two below?

If you scan using HP Scan then enter the phrase "HP Scan" on the Windows 11 search bar and select "open file location"

When the file manager shows the icon, copy it and drop it on your desktop.  If using "smart" for scanning, do the same.

 

My HP LaserJet scans only from HP Scan and, unaccountably,  not from HP Smart
