Just purchased HP Officejet pro X476 dw MFP PCL6 and cannot print borderless photos. Any update known?

Using the PCL XL (PCL6) Page Description Language, the 'cursor' can be set to any position on the physical page, unlike the PCL5 situation where the left & right margin positions are constrained to be within the PCL5 'logical page' (which is narrower than the corresponding physical page width).
So any limitation (perhaps enforced by the driver) will be due to hardware constraints.

The Specifications for this printer indicate that it does not support borderless printing.

... and you can check the printable area margins, using either the PCL5 or PCL XL Page Description Language, for a selected (standard) Page Size and Orientation, using the Print Area tool in the PCL Paraphernalia application, available via http://www.pclparaphernalia.eu
This example is a scan of the PCL5 output produced on a LaserJet 1320n for an A4 page in Portrait orientation, with the PJL'WIDEA4' option.
