HP ENVY 7640
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a photo that has a high resolution. I need to print to exactly 3.5cm x 4.5 cm. How do I do it?

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

You can print to non-standard paper sizes with many types of HP home and small office printers. Print to any size paper within the minimum and maximum printing dimensions supported by your printer.

This is not what I asked. Your reply took so long that I have since found my own solution not using HP equipment or SW. So I am pretty disappointed in this support service which seems next to useless.

I wanted to print a passport photo on a standard size A4 page. I have now found the public domain package GIMP which solved that problem.  However, Although my HP Envy 7640 seems to be rated at 1200 dpi, I could not get it to print with 600 dpi (which I needed for the pass photo).  So I used a professional print service.  The vIsa service has now accepted my pass photos after having rejected them twice.
