HP Envy 5540
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an HP ENVY 5540 wireless printer/scanner connected to an HP Pavillion p6-2007c PC. When I select to print a document, I cannot find a option to print in poster mode.  My old  HP Photosmart C4650 printer/scanner offered this selection. How do I do this with the 5540? Does the 5540 even support this ?

I did some research on your query and it turns out that the Poster mode isn't supported by this printer,

That said, Feel free to ask any other queries as  well,

Greetings @DLC1

Thanks for the post.

I understand that you are looking to know how to print in landscape and fit the photo to page, is that right?

Not to worry, I will be glad to help.

Are you facing any print quality issues with your printer?

May I know the application you are printing from?

The option you are looking for is limited to the application you are using to print from and not the printer.

Recommend you use Photos application provided by Microsoft with Windows 10 to print in full page.

Please find a screenshot of the settings below where you can change the page settings from Portrait to Landscape, select the paper type, size and you also have an option to fit page.

Please make the changes desired and check the print preview before you print, as the printout is going to be like the way it looks in print preview.

You can also refer to this HP Article for assistance in printing photos.

Let me know if this helped.

Hi Chimney_83, I guess I was not completely  clear in my original posting. When I try to pring an ADOBE document (such as a schematic diagram for example), a screen shows up and about the middle of the screen the "Page Sizing and Handling" section allows , among others, Poster printing. When I choose the HP ENVY 5540 printer, I cannot select this Poster print mode. However, when I connect my HP 4650 Printer to the Pavilion computer, and repeat the print selectionI am able to select any mode on the aforementioned Page and sizing screen. This also begs my second question in my original post, Does the ENVY 5540 support this. Thanks. DLC1

Very disappointed.  This is is a very important function for me a a artist/designer.  Any software I can add to my computer to make this work?
