How to put Office Jet #3830 shortcut on the desktop?

Had unit on old computer. It went bad. Now I have new computer. How do I set it up? Officejet 3830 Windows 10, not sure if 12 0r 32 bit.

I'd like to help!

Windows computers include print and scan drivers for most HP printers. 

Download the drivers from here -Software and drivers for HP OfficeJet 3830 All-in-One Printer series 

To connect the printer to the network, refer to HP printer setup (wireless network)

For USB setup refer to -HP printer setup (USB cable)

Added Software and printer works. I have pinned it to Task bar and Start menu. I used to have an ICON on my Desktop. HOW do I add a icon/shortcut to the desktop?????? I can use the printer, but I want a shortcut on my desktop. Can you help with that small task?????

Try the steps below to create a shortcut-

(a) Hit Win key to get all programs, and type HP 

(b) Scroll down to HP folder,

(c) Expand it  (click the small down arrow; you can see some components here),

(d) Right-click the Printer icon and right-click more

(e) select send to desktop or pin to taskbar option
