HP Photosmart 8253
Microsoft Windows XP

Hello. I have a problem with my HP Photosmart 8253 printer. When I print a test page in a black square, I get a green square. Also in the photographs: black turns out to be red. At the same time, everything is fine on the test page, where there is text. And other text pages print great, black is black everywhere. A simple black square is also printed in black. HP's Problem Diagnostic Tool worked, printed all the squares of the correct colors, but the problem persisted when printing photos. Also, on the test page that the printer itself prints, the black square turns out to be green. I suppose this is a software glitch. But I can't find a way to do a factory reset - there are many tips on the internet, but not for my printer. I also wanted to reinstall the firmware, but I don't see such an option. The HP PC Update Tool does not resolve the issue.
I indicated that I am using Windows XP, but I can connect the printer to both Windows 7-64 and Windows 10.
I would be grateful for any help.
