I am configuring a new laptop for use in a home network environment. I am in NH. The local network printer is in Illinois, where this new laptop will ultimately be used. How do I install the HP software for a printer that is not physically here with me? Furthermore, since I am 1000 miles away, I retrieved the printer s/n using the HP Smart application on the old laptop using the TeamViewer remote control application. When prompted to enter the s/n, your wizard keeps saying the s/n is invalid.
