Hi @Lee9111

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To remove or edit the email addresses associated with your HP LaserJet Pro MFP M277dw printer, you will need to access the Embedded Web Server (EWS). This is the web-based management interface that allows you to configure various printer settings, including managing email addresses in the Scan to Email feature.

Here’s a step-by-step guide to remove or edit email addresses on your HP M277dw printer:

1. Find the Printer’s IP Address

First, you’ll need to find the printer’s IP address, as this is necessary to access the EWS.

  • On the printer’s control panel, go to the Home screen.
  • Tap the Wireless icon (if available) or navigate to Setup > Network Setup > View Network Configuration.
  • Look for the IP address on the screen (it will look something like 192.168.x.x).

Alternatively, you can print a Network Configuration page from the printer:

  1. From the Home screen, tap on Setup (gear icon).
  2. Select Reports, then choose Network Configuration.

2. Access the Embedded Web Server (EWS)

Now that you have the IP address, you can access the EWS to manage email addresses.

  1. Open a web browser on your computer or device.
  2. Type the printer's IP address into the browser’s address bar and press Enter. For example, http://192.168.1.100.
  3. The EWS page should load.

3. Log in to the EWS (if needed)

If prompted, you may need to log in to access the advanced settings:

  • Username: admin
  • Password: This is usually empty by default, but if you set one up, enter the password you configured.

4. Navigate to the Scan to Email Settings

Once you're logged into the EWS:

  1. Go to the Scan tab (or Scan to Email Setup), depending on your printer model.
  2. You should see an option for Email Profiles or Send-to-Email Addresses.

5. Remove or Edit the Email Addresses

Here, you can see the list of email addresses or profiles that have been configured for Scan to Email. You can either:

  • Delete an Email Address: Select the email address you no longer wish to use, and there should be an option to delete or remove it.
  • Edit an Email Address: If you want to modify an email address, select it and change the details (email, name, etc.).

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

Took a while as some of menu verbiage was slightly different but as usual, diligence and patience has paid off!

Thanks, much appreciated…
