Hi @smileauto36,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It seems like you're facing issues with your HP printer, and you want to reset it to factory settings. Please note that performing a factory reset will erase all customized settings and return the printer to its default state. Here are the general steps you can follow.

  1. Power off the Printer: Make sure the printer is turned off before you begin.

  2. Access the Control Panel: Depending on your printer model, find the control panel on the front of the printer. It could be a touch screen or a physical panel with buttons.

  3. Press and Hold Buttons: Press and hold the appropriate buttons simultaneously. The combination may vary, but you might try pressing and holding the "Wireless" button and the "Cancel" button or the "Resume" button for about 5 seconds.

  4. Wait for LED Indicators: Keep holding the buttons until you see some changes on the printer's display or the LED indicators. This might take a few seconds.

  5. Release the Buttons: Once you see signs that the reset process has started, release the buttons.

  6. Complete the Reset: Follow any on-screen prompts to confirm the reset. The printer might restart during this process.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
