How to resize image before printing with HP Smart windows 10

This is totally a customer service discrepancy that there is No option/icon to resize image before printing with HP Smart windows 10. There is absolutely no way to scale an image down for printing. No Icon/"Pencil" to access. Why would HP do something so stupid when their proprietary software doesn't even have basic tools for editing. Unacceptable and if I need to purchase another printer in the near future it definitely "WON'T BE A HP PRODUCT".......

The printer lacks any knowledge of what it is printing.

Options to resize the print are available depending on the application / software you are using.

The smarter your application or software, the more control you have over the results.

This is true for any brand printer --
