When I use HP scan and print it does not have some size settings for photos, e.g., 3"* 5" or @.5" * 3.5". or a credit card, medical insurance card, etc.
If I recall correctly there use to be a way to preview the scan screen and the pull borders in to actually fit what was being scanned.
Is there a link to HP software that has that scan capability?

Hi,
Thanks for using the HP Forums.
Try this softwre:
HP Scan Extended
ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/scanners/HPScanExt/HPScanExt.msi
Once it's downloaded and installed, go to Start > All Programs > HP > HP Scan Extended > Run "HP Scan Extended"
This resource will show you how it's done:
Scan multiple photos with Auto Crop (HP Scan Extended)
Hope that helps!

Hi,
Glad to hear that your issue is resolved and all is working well now.
Heres' how to scan High Res - using the Flatbed only:
Create a scan shortcut and high resolution scans (HP Officejet Pro 8700 AiO series and 6900 series)
(different printer but steps are the same)
Have a nice day!
