Hi @RickyPR,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be happy to help you!
To scan using a USB cable with your HP Envy 4152e printer, you can use the HP Smart app or the HP Scan software. Here's how you can do it:
HP Smart App (Windows 10, macOS, Android, iOS):
- Download and install the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device.
- Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to set up your printer.
- Click on the "Scan" tile in the app.
- Select your printer from the list of available printers.
- Choose the scan type (Document or Photo) and adjust settings if necessary.
- Click on the "Scan" button to start scanning.
HP Scan Software (Windows):
- If you're using Windows, you can use the HP Scan software to scan with a USB cable.
- Make sure the printer is connected to your computer via USB.
- Press the Windows key, type "HP" to find the HP folder, and then click on "HP Scan" or "HP Easy Scan."
- Select your printer from the list of available devices.
- Choose the scan type (Document or Photo) and adjust settings if necessary.
- Click on the "Scan" button to start scanning.
You may also try using HP Scan and Capture for Windows.
If you encounter any issues or error messages while scanning, make sure that the printer is properly connected to your computer via USB and that the HP software is correctly installed. If the problem persists, you may need to reinstall the HP software. Click here
