Hi @EEO80,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Setting a custom paper size on an HP OfficeJet Pro 8715 can vary depending on the specific features and options provided by the printer driver software. Here are steps that should help you set a custom paper size on Windows 11:
Open Printer Preferences:
- Click on the Start menu and select "Settings."
- Go to "Devices" and then select "Printers & scanners."
- Locate your HP OfficeJet Pro 8715 in the list of printers and click on it.
Access Printer Preferences:
- Click on the "Manage" button or "Printer properties" option.
- Look for a "Preferences" or "Printing Preferences" button. Click on it.
Paper/Quality Tab:
- Navigate to the "Paper/Quality" or a similar tab.
Custom Paper Size:
- Look for an option like "Custom" or "Custom Paper Size."
- Click on the "Custom" option if available.
Specify Custom Paper Size:
- Enter the dimensions for your custom paper size. Make sure to specify the width and height.
- Give your custom size a name if required.
Save Settings:
- Look for a "Save" or "OK" button to apply the changes.
If you can't find the option to set a custom paper size in the printer preferences, please check the user manual that came with your HP OfficeJet Pro 8715 or visit the official HP support website for specific instructions.
Additionally, you may find an option to set custom paper sizes through the "Print Server Properties" window. To access this:
- Open the "Devices and Printers" window.
- Right-click on your printer and select "Printer properties."
- Go to the "Advanced" tab.
- Click on the "Print Server Properties" button.
- In the "Forms" tab, you may be able to add a new form with your custom paper size.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.-
