Hi @MaizTacos,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query.

I understand that you would like to set up a password on your HP printer, you can usually do this through the printer's Embedded Web Server (EWS).

Connect to the Printer's Network:

  • Make sure your printer and your computer are connected to the same network.

Access the Embedded Web Server (EWS):

  • Find the printer's IP address by printing a Network Configuration Page from the printer's settings.
  • Enter the IP address into your web browser to open the EWS.

Log into the EWS:

  • Depending on if a password is already set, you might be prompted to enter it.
  • If prompted for a username, try "admin".

Set Up a Password:

  • Go to the Security or Settings tab within the EWS.
  • Look for an option like Administrator Settings or Password Settings.
  • You can create and confirm a new password here.

Save Your Changes:

  • After setting the password, ensure you click on any button that looks like "Apply" or "Save" to store your settings.

Close the EWS Page:

  • Once everything is saved, you can close your web browser.

Take care and have an amazing day!
