How to uninstall HP printer from Mac

I have an Apple Mac running Sequoia IOS. I have bought a new HP Envy Aspire 7900e series.  printer but still have old printer installed in MAC software. Do I have to uninstall this software and how. Grateful any advice.

Thank you Irwin, I was able to remove my old printer and install my new Envy Inspire 7900e series working over Apple Mac Sequoia IOS. All works except I cannot print a colour word document direct from Word although I can if I use the print button on HP smart. I will search and post a new pleas for help to be able to do this.
