How to update firmware for MFP M377 series printer

I tried it in the past to update the firmwate of our HP M377 in the past without success. In the end I had given up the courage given the previous experiences with HP Support. Since the firmware has had a few new releases since the current (20160921) version i'll make a new attempt.

Is there a way, as a mac user, to update the firmware for this printer ? 
The only firmware update utilit i am able to find is for windows. There seems to be no fimware file, no option in the service interface of the printer nor in the web-interface to get an alternative way to upgrade the firmware. 

Any hints, tips, solutions ?

Hi Peter,

Use below utility for your Mac:

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/FW_CPE_Commercial/M477_M377/M477_M377_MFP_Series_FW_Update-...

It seems as the updater has been updated for Mac OS just yesterday and therefore it is not currently available at hp.com. it should be listed again within the next days.

HP did a good job hiding this utility ! It was nowhere to be found, also not the older versions. If you go to the product support page you won't see any hint that there is a Mac Update available.

It has again been some time ago i have update my printer so did a second attempt to find the firmware on the printers support site. Again no joy.... The update utility is available for windows 10, but updating to the latest firmware for Mac users seems to have been hidden away again. FTP site is not accessible. Any tips to get the latest firmware updater and printer firmware for mac again ?
