Hello,

I lived in US between 2015 and 2017. I have been working for my country in according of an agreement between Brazil and US.

I have the Working Visa in my passaport to prove.

I that period I bought two HP printers. The first one is a HP ENVY 5660, [serial number removed] using ink cartridge number 62, and the second one is a HP OfficeJet Pro 6978, serial number TH6AB44193, using ink cartridge number 902.

When I came back to Brazil, I brought the two printers and some ink cartridges.

But now, the ink cartridges are gone and here I can't find the same ink cartridges numbers because the similar model printers have a different ink cartridge numbers.

Some people said to me that I need to set up my printers to use in Brazil but only HP can make this.

So, I need the support of HP to resolve my problem.

I can't imagine that I will have to throw away my printers and buy two new others.

I hope you can help me.

This is a great place to get support, find answers to your technical queries.

 

HP customizes some printers and ink cartridges to meet local customer needs. If you take your printer from one country/region to another country/region, you might not find ink cartridges with the same number on the label as your original ink cartridges. If you install an ink cartridge with a different number on the label, you might see one of the following error messages:

  • Incompatible Cartridges

  • Cartridge Not Intended for this Printer

  • Incorrect Cartridges
