HTML config will not open anything. I have updated firmware, done factory reset, i have literally tried anything. I imagine the HTML config button has a function that opens the web browser and types in a local address. What I would really like is for someone to tell me what that local address format should look like so I can manually open the HTML configuration myself. I can't seem to find any information about it online, which is odd. So if anyone could provide me with the proper URL format, I would very much appreciate it.

Greetings @sluga9301

Welcome to HP Forums and Thanks for the post.

I understand setup the printer over wireless and you are looking to know how to configure the printer using HTML config, is that right?

Not to worry, I will be glad to help.

Have you tried to setup the printer using USB?

Is the printer on the same network as the computer?

I see that the full feature software for your printer is no available on our website for MAC OS X 10.11.

Recommend you uninstall the printer, reset the printing system and setup the printer using Apple update.

HP Printers - Uninstalling HP Printer Software (Mac)

HP Printers - Resetting the Printing System (Mac)

HP Printers - Installing a Mac Printer Driver Using Apple Software Update

If the printer is on the same network, the printer will be listed to set it up as a wireless printer while setting up the printer using Apple update.
