Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Hp 2605 dsn color won't work after win 11 update in Jan 2024.  It prints in gray.  The printer offline prints test in color.  I printed all my Christmas cards in Dec. 2023 in color just fine.  I am using a USB port. The color cartridges are all full. Under the General printer properties, It says NO, the printer does not print in color.  I have tried to set the Device Settings, Installable Options from Off to Update Now.  I get a printer communications error.  Then it does a communication, but changes nothing.  I know the printer can communicate as it can do a test print and print all in gray scale.

 

In addition, I downloaded the latest HP PCL driver (ver 7.1).  I have changed USB ports, I have turned off the printer from the wall, I have rebooted my WIN 11 computer.  

 

Any other suggestions?
