HP OfficeJet Pro 6975

I am unable to print from one computer on my wireless network but it prints from the others (both Win 10 and AirPrint).  The printer used to work from my wife's computer but has recently stopped entirely.  The print file shows up in the Queue, the printer starts making noises like it is setting up, loading paper, etc. then the file goes away from the Queue and the printer stops making noises and goes back to sleep without printing anything or even advancing any paper.   Both computers are 64 bit with Win 10 Home with the exact same version number and build number.   Both are up to date.   I have deleted all the printer files several times and reinstalled the printer to no effect.   I can print various diagnostic pages from the HP app, colored blocks, lines, bars, etc. and the  Printer Hardware Information sheet and Printer Status Report but cannot print the Test Page from the Printer Properties screen.   I did print from the ePrint feature so that works.   I have stopped and restarted the Print Spooler service in Windows and set it for auto start.   What is next?

@LinFarmer,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are unable to print from one of the computers wirelessly.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I recommend you root uninstall the printer and then reinstall it and check whether the issue is resolved.

Here is how it is done.

1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features

2.) Select your HP Printer

3.) Select Uninstall

4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers

5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose 'Delete' or 'Remove Device'

6.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.

7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)

8.) Click on the "Drivers" tab

9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom

10.) Select Ok

11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows

12.) Close Devices and Printers

13.) Restart the PC

14.) Download and install the printer software from the below link.
