Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Hello,

I have a Hp Deskjet 2922 printer, have the following issue with the hp printer driver when I install the latest driver from the Hp support webpage, and try to print, nothing happens, Windows 11 25h2 shows that the print is idle and offline, When I manually install the driver from windows 11 25h2 the printer works fine.

Is there a way to fix this issue.

Hi @Matthew060 

You may need to install Full software drivers for your printer.

 

1. Please install the next Full driver for Deskjet 2900:

 

2. Also check that in Windows > Settings > Printers & Scanners there is no error related to Deskjet 2922 printer,

  • and also check if there is some message about "Windows protected print mode".
