HP Instant Ink
macOS 12.0 Monterey

I have just purchased this HP Envy Inspire All in one printer 7200e.  I have been trying to register it but the serial number is not showing as valid.  I am using Mac OS Sequoia 15.0.1operating system.  I have tried to talk to technical support to get this issue resolved but I keep getting kicked off from the chats.  Please help.  I am trying to register this printer for work for the warranty to be valid.  I am also an HP instant ink customer so I'd like to have the year extended to two years per the adverts.  I can email all the images for the product with the serial numbers.  Please send me an email I can reply to.

Hi @JennaDale2000

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like you're having a frustrating time getting your HP Envy Inspire 7200e registered. Here are some steps you can take to resolve the issue:

1. Double-Check the Serial Number

  • Ensure you're entering the serial number correctly. It’s usually located on the back or bottom of the printer.
  • Verify that there are no extra spaces or characters when you input it online.

2. Try a Different Browser

  • Sometimes, browser issues can cause problems with online registration. Try using a different browser (like Chrome, Firefox, or Safari) to see if that helps.

3. Clear Browser Cache

  • Clear your browser cache and cookies, then try the registration process again.

4. HP Smart App Registration

  • If you haven't already, try registering the printer using the HP Smart app on your Mac or mobile device. The app often simplifies the registration process.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
