macOS 11.0 Big Sur

Looking for a driver for my HP Laser P1005 printer. I am wired in. I have a Mac Big Sur, Version 11.6. Can anyone help?

What a hassle but I was bound and determined and got it to work. Here's how. 

Firstly, When you install the driver and it won't open, Follow the directions carefully:

Note: if the file fails to launch, Right-click it and select Open to launch the installer, as well make sure it is not blocked under System Preferences > Security & Privacy and then launch it again:

 

However, My printer now had a driver but remained in IDLE mode. So off I went in search of an answer to that. See above and follow step by step. 

I Deleted the printer I just added ( I know it seems counter intuitive) and then clicked on the + sign and re add it to your list.

Taa Daaa, it works!
