I downloaded the softward and driver for my printer after a new pc and windows11. I used to have a shortcut on my pc for the printer which gave me all the options, but nothing seems to be installed and no shortcut on the desktop

Hi @Nisa51 

Try to install the next driver for your printer:

>> https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/COL47810/mp-115828-6/Full_Webpack-116-Full_Webpack.exe

 

Once you install check again the shortcut to open printer options.

Hello @FerRX yes that is the one I have downloaded and have problems with. As a last resort I have removed the printer from windows, uninstalled everything relating to HP including HP Smart as that does not seem to work as it should. Will try once again to download and install.

 

But I thinkthis printer has a lot of issues, as I cannot print a PDF it starts then half way through the page it stops printing, the printer shows printing but it does not print any more of the pdf and I have to remove it from the queue. Also it will not realign the paper. This was my first HP Printer from moving from Epson, think I will go back toEpson if this last resort does not work.

Nope nothing totally had it with HP even logging into my dashboard on the website turns it all into spanish with a different printer showing

@FerRX lol I have run that so so many times, it says the printer is ok, but it definately is not. trying to open up the app it says there is no short cut, only other option I can think of is yet again unintall it all and delete the programme files and data, and try and open it as administrator

That was the last time to try and install the software it is not even showing up in programme files on PC nor is it showing on installed programmes, just the HP help and HP update and nothing else.

 

The printer will be going to the tip tomrorow and shop for another but definately no HP
