I'm attempting to uninstall HP printer software prior to a re-install.  After selecting "Uninstall..." I am asked for my admin password to make the change. After that, Uninstaller does not advance to the uninstall. When I click "Continue" my Mac again asks for my admin password.  This continues in circular fashion.  How do I break out?

Hi @AnnaLynneH

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the printer installation.

To better assist you -

1.) May I have the exact model name of the product? Refer to this document for steps to find the product details. Do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc.

2.) Can you also send us a picture of the password screen?

Let me know.

Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.

Click the “Kudos, Thumbs Up" on the bottom right to say “Thanks” for helping!

Have a great day!
