Hello I have HP C309a printer that I recently bought. But I don’t have the software to be able to print on dvd’s. I bought this printer just for this reason and I can’t find the original software to be able to print on dvd’s. I tried a lot of softwares but none of them recognized the dvd tray. What do i need to do?

I understand how disappointing it must be to have trouble finding the right software to print on DVDs with your HP C309a printer. Let's figure this out together.

 

A few questions to help address the issue:

  • Have you checked the HP website or the installation CD (if available) for the original software?
  • Are you using Windows or macOS, and which version? Some software may not be compatible with newer operating systems.
  • When you insert the DVD tray, does the printer recognize it or display any error messages?

 

May I have the exact name and product number of the unit? Do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc.
