Hi @Linglinglisa

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query.

I understand that your HP ENVY 6155e is not printing documents correctly. You mentioned that headers are missing, content is being split across two pages, Additionally, please print a Printer Status Report and, if possible, share a photo of the printed output showing the missing header and page formatting issue. Meanwhile, I would request you to please follow the steps:

Check the paper size and source settings (Windows)

  • Check the paper size and source settings for your print job in Windows.
  • In the program you are trying to print from, click File, and then click Print.
  • Make sure your printer is selected, and then open the Properties dialog box.
  • Depending on the software program, the button might be Properties, Options, Printer Setup, Printer, or Preferences.
  • For most HP printers, click the Paper/Quality tab, and then continue with these steps.
  • For HP Laser printers, click the Paper tab, click the Original Size drop-down, and then make sure the paper size matches the type of paper loaded into the printer. Click the Output Size drop-down, select Same as Original Size, and then click OK.
  • Click Paper Source, and then confirm the correct paper tray is selected.
  • Click Advanced, and then click the Paper Size drop-down.
  • Make sure the paper size matches the type of paper loaded into the printer.

Note:

If the exact paper size is missing from the list, select the size closest to the paper loaded into the tray.

Click OK.

Reset the printer

  • Reset the printer to recover from printer errors or failures.
  • If your printer has a rechargeable battery, remove it.
  • Press the power button to turn off the printer. If the printer does not turn off, disconnect the power cord from the printer.
  • Unplug the power cord from the power source.
  • Wait 60 seconds.
  • Connect the power cord directly to a wall outlet and to the printer.
  • Turn on the printer to complete the reset.

Update the printer firmware

HP regularly releases new firmware versions with printer enhancements or issue fixes. Update firmware regularly to make sure you are getting the most out of your printer.

  • Do not turn off the printer during a firmware update. This can permanently damage your printer.
  • From the printer control panel (network printers only): Many HP printers with control panel menus can install updates directly from HP. Updating the firmware from the control panel varies by printer model.
  • For example, touch the Setup icon , touch Printer Maintenance, touch Update Printer, and then touch Check Now. Any new updates install automatically.
  • From the HP app: Click the image of your printer, click Advanced Settings, or scroll to Printer Settings, click View all, and then click Advanced Settings. In Advanced Settings, click the Printer Update tile or click Printer Updates under Manage, enter the printer PIN if prompted, and then click Check Now. Any new updates install automatically.
  • From the HP website: Go to HP Software and Driver Downloads, follow the prompts to open the downloads page for your printer. Click Download next to any updates listed under Firmware, and then open and follow the HP Printer Update prompts to update the firmware.

Clicking Download under the Firmware section

For more information, go to Update the firmware on an HP printer.

Uninstall the HP print driver and use the HP app (Windows)

  • Uninstall the HP print driver and install and use the HP app on a Windows computer.
  • Disconnect any USB cables from the printer.
  • In Windows, search for and open Add or remove programs.
  • Look for your HP printer name in the list of programs.
  • If you find your printer, click the printer name, and then click Uninstall.
  • If you do not find your printer, search for and open Printers & scanners, click your printer, and then click Remove device.
  • If a User Account Control message displays, click Yes.
  • Follow the instructions to complete the software removal, and then restart the computer.

Hope this helps, Please revert if the issue persists.

Take care and have an amazing day!

I'm an HP Employee.
