Hi @Deannajstokes

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand you're experiencing an issue with your HP device, and I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. I'm here to help you today.

Here are some steps you can try to resolve them:

For Multiple Copies Issue:

Check Print Settings: Before printing, make sure that the number of copies is set to one in the print dialog box. Sometimes, settings can default to more than one.

Reset Print Preferences:

  • Go to Devices and Printers on your computer.
  • Right-click on your printer and select Printer Properties.
  • Click on Preferences and check if there’s a default setting for multiple copies. Reset it if necessary.

Update Drivers: Ensure your printer drivers are up to date. You can download the latest drivers from the HP website, click HERE

For Printing Error Messages:

Check the Print Queue: Go to the print queue on your computer and see if there are any stuck jobs. Clear the queue and try printing again.

refer to this document, click HERE

Restart Printer and Computer: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve connectivity issues.

Run HP Print and Scan Doctor: This tool can help diagnose and fix common printing issues. Download it from the HP website.

Reset the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it for a minute.
  • Plug it back in and turn it on.

I hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Please click “Accepted Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.
