Signed up for HP all in one smart tank 7602r printer with ink and paper.
The printer will only print double sided via the hp on my phone. It will not show print 2 sided as an option on my computer. I’ve ran every trouble shooting thing I could find. I called hp support and received no help. They escalated me to another department and was told I needed to pay $100 for assistance. I’ve had the printer for 10 days! I’m paying for the service monthly and cannot even get set up support.
From what I’ve read it seems that Hp doesn’t have a driver compatible with Windows 11 arm computers. Anyone have any solutions? Or I’m sending the printer back….

@Amy72421, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
We are sorry to hear about the issue you are facing with your HP Smart Tank 7602r, Here’s what you can try to sort the issue:
Use HP Universal Print Driver (UPD)
- HP's UPD may offer better compatibility.
- Download it here: HP Universal Print Driver
- Install and select PostScript or PCL6 mode.
Add Printer Manually Using Generic Drivers
- Open Control Panel > Devices and Printers
- Click Add a printer > The printer that I want isn't listed
- Select Add a local printer or network printer
- Choose Use an existing port (USB or network)
- Click Windows Update and wait for drivers to load
- Select HP Smart Tank 7602r or a similar HP driver (like HP DeskJet series)
- Finish installation and test duplex printing.
Use HP Smart App as a Workaround
- Since duplex printing works on your phone, try the HP Smart App on Windows.
- Download: HP Smart for Windows
- Print through the app instead of the default print menu.
Check if "Print on Both Sides" is Hidden
- Open Print Preferences (from Control Panel or Printer Settings)
- Under Printing Shortcuts or Paper/Quality, look for Two-Sided Printing
- If missing, reinstall the driver and check again.
Try Windows 10 Driver in Compatibility Mode
- Download Windows 10 x64 driver for your printer.
- Right-click Setup.exe > Properties > Compatibility
- Select Run this program in compatibility mode for Windows 10
- Install and check for duplex printing.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
