Hi @Screwu1,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be happy to help you!

This could be a compatible issue with your Android 9.0 pie.

When your HP DeskJet 3752 All-In-One Printer shows a "blocked" error, it typically indicates a technical issue that prevents the printer from functioning properly. Here are some steps you can take to resolve the issue:

Restart the Printer and Android Device:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Wait for about 60 seconds before plugging it back in and turning it on.
  • Restart your Android device.

Check for Paper Jams:

  • Open the printer and check for any paper jams or obstructions.
  • Clear any paper jams carefully if found.

Check Ink Cartridges:

  • Open the printer and ensure the ink cartridges are installed correctly.
  • If the ink cartridges are low or empty, replace them.

Reset the Printer:

  • With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer.
  • Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • Wait for at least 60 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet and reconnect it to the printer.
  • Turn on the printer.

Update Printer Firmware:

  • Ensure your printer's firmware is up to date. You can check for updates using the HP Smart app on your Android device.
  • Open the HP Smart app, select your printer, and check for firmware updates. Click here

Reinstall the Printer:

  • On your Android device, go to the HP Smart app.
  • Remove the printer from the app.
  • Add the printer back to the app and follow the setup instructions.

Kindly find the next set of steps in the next post.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance

Hi @Screwu1,

Please find the next set of steps below.

Network Connection:

  • Ensure your printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Android device.
  • Check the network connection and reset the Wi-Fi settings if necessary.
  • You can also try connecting your printer directly to your Android device using Wi-Fi Direct.

Clear Print Queue:

  • Sometimes, a stuck print job can cause issues. Clear the print queue on your Android device:
    • Open the HP Smart app.
    • Check the print queue and cancel any pending print jobs.

HP Print and Scan Doctor:

  • Although this tool is primarily for Windows, you can use the HP Smart app to diagnose and fix common printer issues on your Android device.

If the issue persists after trying these steps, consider contacting HP Support for further assistance.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance
