@Randy8612, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If the HP Smart app cannot find your HP ENVY Photo 7855 printer automatically, you can manually add it using the IP address. Follow these steps:

Step 1: Find the Printer’s IP Address

1. Use the printer’s control panel:

  • Tap the Wireless icon 📶 or Network Settings on the printer screen.
  • Look for Wi-Fi Settings or Network Configuration.
  • Find the IP Address (something like 192.168.1.xxx).

2. Print a Network Configuration Page:

  • On the printer, go to Setup > Reports > Network Configuration Page.
  • The IP Address should be listed under IPv4.

Step 2: Add the Printer Using the IP Address

  1. Open HP Smart on your Windows 11 PC.
  2. Click on the Add Printer option.
  3. If the printer is not detected, look for Set up a new printer manually or Add Printer by IP.
  4. Enter the IP Address you found earlier.
  5. Click Apply or Connect.

Step 3: Verify the Connection

  • Try printing a test page from HP Smart or your Control Panel > Printers & Scanners.
  • If it does not connect, make sure your printer and PC are on the same Wi-Fi network.

If the issue persists, try:

  • Restarting your printer, router, and PC.
  • Temporarily disabling firewall/antivirus that might be blocking the connection.
  • Reinstalling the HP Smart App.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
