I want to use scan and print from my computer. Hp suggest to download HP Smart but it does not load. I successfully doanloaded it and installed it but now I am waiting more than 30 minutes to open. I saw the blue logo, now a blue circle is spinning and nothing happens. Tried to reinstall the app, tried it yesterday and 2 days ago and the same thing happens. Android app works fine but the app from microsoft store works whenever it wants and usually when I dont need it. I once saw it open within 10 minutes which is also a long time to wait. For the record I use Hp laptop envy 17.

Ideas:
- Install the Full Feature Software / full driver printer software (includes HP Scan software)
- Reset the HP Smart app on your Windows system.

Restart everything, including the router that controls your network.

Reset HP Smart Application - Windows
Reset the HP Smart application - This action removes the app data.
Open Settings > Apps > Apps and Features
Search and Find HP Smart in the apps list
Open Advanced options > Reset the app
Restart the computer and log in
Open HP Smart > Sign in > Add Printer(s)

If the app Reset does not work by itself,
Next,
Uninstall the HP Smart App from Settings > Apps > Apps and Features
Restart the computer and log in
“Get” a new copy of the HP Smart application from the Microsoft Store
Open HP Smart > Sign in > Add Printer(s)
